About Stone Man Park

Who We Are

Stone Man Park (SMP) is an outdoor music, art and educational destination place. Its 57 acres of minimally disturbed woodland boast several covered stages, multi-use pavilions, clearings, trails and the Pacolet River. Nestled in the middle of nature with structures fashioned from repurposed materials—it’s poised to become the community’s favorite local getaway.

Our Mission: To preserve, promote and celebrate music, art and nature at Stone Man Park.

Our Vision: A continuously evolving cultural community grounded in fairness and open to all.

Goin' Public

For 30 years, this land was known to friends and musicians as the Music Camp, a hidden gem born from a party boat idea and a lot of repurposed materials.

After three decades of hosting concerts and gatherings, founders John and Lisa Featherston decided it was time to pass the torch. They transitioned the land into a non-profit park for the entire community to enjoy. The goal is to take that original concept of a multi-stage greenspace and expand it for all.
